Dale Zurbay

Chief Growth Officer

Dale Zurbay serves as WellSky’s chief growth officer and oversees the execution of WellSky’s enterprise growth strategy. Dale has more than 25 years of sales, business development, and executive leadership experience in healthcare technology. Before joining WellSky, he was senior vice president of sales, healthcare, at Nuance Communications, a leading conversational AI technology company that provides software solutions and services to healthcare and enterprise markets. In this role, he oversaw the company’s growth efforts across North America. Prior to Nuance Communications, Dale held strategic roles of increasing responsibility at Optum and BEA Systems. Dale earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Minnesota.  

Lissy Hu

President, Connected Networks

Dr. Lissy Hu serves as president of WellSky’s connected networks, where she works with leading health systems, payers, and accountable care organizations to optimize post-acute care outcomes. Lissy brings with her over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare technology space. In 2012, Lissy founded CarePort to provide care coordination software solutions to manage patient transitions across the continuum. CarePort’s end-to-end platform bridges acute and post-acute EHRs — providing visibility for providers, payers, and ACOs into the care that patients receive across care settings. Lissy earned her Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-medical studies and sociology from Columbia University.

John Hutchinson

Senior Vice President, Client Experience

As senior vice president of client experience, John Hutchinson is responsible for defining, developing, and executing strategic plans to achieve a superior client experience. With more than 20 years of health care experience, John has a proven track record of leading teams with a focus on delighting clients and optimizing their success. Prior to WellSky, John served as vice president of the clinical and technology strategic business unit at Cerner where he was responsible for developing an organization mindset and operating rhythm that balanced solution expertise with a client-centric relationship model. John’s experience also includes various financial and operational roles at Sprint. John earned his MBA and bachelor’s from the University of Kansas.

Amy Shellhart

Chief Solutions Officer

As chief solutions officer, Amy Shellhart leads our solution management teams in innovating, designing and developing solutions that help our clients solve some of today’s biggest challenges in healthcare. Drawing on 30 years of healthcare industry experience, Amy is responsible for aligning, rationalizing, advancing, and maximizing WellSky’s solutions to meet the needs of providers across acute and post-acute care, with a specific focus on driving enterprise capabilities that streamline operational efficiencies, optimize clients’ resources, and support the transition to value-based care. Prior to WellSky, Amy served as vice president of product management at Change Healthcare with responsibilities for home health, hospice and personal care software solutions. Amy’s experience also includes 10 years in chronic disease management and population health, with a focus on diabetes care and the role of patient engagement and behavior change in improving outcomes. Amy earned her MBA and bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University.

Bill Miller

Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, WellSky

Bill Miller is the CEO of WellSky and a recognized leader in the healthcare industry. With 25 years of experience in bringing groundbreaking growth strategies and technological innovation to the healthcare marketplace, Bill has a proven track record of launching and leading highly successful healthcare IT companies. Under Bill’s leadership, WellSky has experienced unprecedented growth and has claimed a transformative position as the leading innovator of intelligent, coordinated care. Prior to joining WellSky in July 2017, Bill served as the CEO of OptumInsight, a division of Optum, which is the health services platform of UnitedHealth Group. Under Bill’s leadership, OptumInsight experienced unparalleled revenue growth and expanded margins. He led the evolution of Optum into the leader in health care analytics and launched several tech-enabled business platforms. Prior to OptumInsight, Bill served as senior vice president of technologies at Cerner Corporation, where he had global responsibility for the company’s managed services, outsourcing, and technology services business units. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in urban planning and public policy.

Steve Morgan

President and Chief Operating Officer

Steve Morgan serves as president and chief operating officer for WellSky and is responsible for setting direction and driving day-to-day execution against the company’s strategic objectives and priorities. With more than 20 years of industry experience, a passion for company culture, and an emphasis on the client experience, Steve leads WellSky’s diverse teams focused on optimizing client workflows, efficiencies, and outcomes. Since joining WellSky in 2018, Steve has played a critical role in the company’s unprecedented workforce and revenue growth, while simultaneously expanding its reach with solutions that serve acute, post-actue, and community care providers as well as payers and life sciences companies. Prior to joining WellSky, Steve served as COO for OptumInsight, a division of Optum, which is the health services platform of UnitedHealth Group. Steve was broadly responsible for the company’s annual operating plan with a focus on employee engagement, client management, growth, and innovation. He was fundamental to the significant growth and strategic scalability of OptumInsight. Prior to Optum, Steve held a varity of executive positions at Cerner Corporation. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas. 

Rob Weber

President, Community Care

Rob Weber serves as president of WellSky’s diverse community care division, overseeing applications for behavioral health, homeless management, long-term services and supports, medication management, and blood management. Rob has held this position since 2017, and he previously also managed many of WellSky’s other clinical applications, including blood services and medication management. Rob joined WellSky in January 2004, originally serving as executive vice president and general counsel, and he continues to serve as the company’s general counsel for legal and regulatory matters.

Troy Caraway

President, Post-Acute Care

Troy Caraway serves as president of WellSky’s post-acute care division, overseeing applications and services for home health, hospice, long-term care, rehab and respiratory, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and HME/DME. He is responsible for cultivating customer relationships through integrated platforms, analytics, services, and strategic consulting solutions. Troy brings more than two decades of executive leadership in health care, including large-scale payer, provider, and technology organizations. He has a proven track record in Fortune 30 employers, benefit consultants, managed care organizations, hospital systems, and provider groups. Prior to WellSky, Troy served as Senior Vice President for UnityPoint Health, one of the nation’s most integrated health systems. While at UnityPoint Health, he served as CEO of its health plan, Physicians Plus Insurance Company. Troy also served as Senior Vice President for Optum, the health services platform of UnitedHealth Group. Troy earned his bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University.
 

Tim Ashe

Chief Clinical Officer

As the chief clinical officer, Tim Ashe leads the WellSky Services consulting division, helping organizations improve quality, profitability, and efficiency. Tim’s expertise and career has included a unique blend of clinical, operational, fiscal, and academic roles that help WellSky clients deliver improved care and enhanced outcomes. Tim is a frequent presenter at national and state conferences and is often asked to contribute to industry forums. Tim provides organizational, operational, turnaround, clinical, and change management services to organizations across the country. Prior to joining WellSky, Tim was the president of Fazzi Associates. He also served as vice president of clinical operations for Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester & Monroe County in New York and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Additionally, Tim has an extensive clinical background as an ICU nurse, nurse educator, nurse manager, and advanced practice nurse. He earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science from the University of Rochester, a Bachelor of Skilled Nursing from St. John Fisher College, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Nazareth College.

Joel Dolisy

Chief Technology Officer

In his role as chief technology officer, Joel Dolisy manages both product development and information technology for WellSky. Before joining WellSky as CTO, Joel was CTO of Kinnser Software, where he led the company’s engineering and product organizations. Before Kinnser, Joel was SVP, CTO, and CIO for SolarWinds, a leading provider of IT management software. With more than 20 years of experience in product strategy and software engineering, Joel is a leader in developing and delivering commercial software products to market.

Shoma Sarkar Thomas

Chief Marketing Officer

As chief marketing officer, Shoma Sarkar Thomas oversees the marketing strategy for all WellSky products and is responsible for building the WellSky brand, which includes public relations, communications, and all strategic marketing activities. Previously, Shoma served as vice president of marketing for Kinnser Software, where she led marketing and strategic growth initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from the University of Virginia.

Dana Streck

Chief People Officer

Dana Streck leads WellSky’s people and talent organization. Before joining WellSky, Dana was senior director of workforce transitions for Cerner Corporation, where she welcomed and transitioned new team members into Cerner through client partnerships and acquisitions. With more than 15 years of experience in human resources, Dana has successfully partnered with business leaders to drive workforce initiatives that benefit both companies and clients, while simultaneously creating environments that support growth and innovation.

Jason Baker

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

As senior vice president of corporate development for WellSky, Jason Baker is responsible for acquisitions, partnerships, and new market strategies. Prior to joining WellSky, he was a managing director for Alpine Healthcare Advisors and Healthcare Growth Partners, both of which provide investment banking services in healthcare technology and services. Jason also served as head corporate development executive for Cerner Corporation. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri.

Wes Little

Chief Analytics Officer and General Manager of WellSky Home

As chief analytics officer and general manager of WellSky Home, Wes Little leads WellSky’s unified analytics strategy to deliver data-driven insights and innovative solutions. He previously served as director of product management for Kinnser Software, where he oversaw rapid product innovation for the company’s home health electronic medical record software. Wes holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University.

Andy Eilert

President, Emerging Markets

Andy Eilert serves as the president of emerging markets with a focus on enhancing WellSky’s software and analytics capabilities to optimize care and scale performance through new ventures and strategic opportunities. He has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare services and technology sectors, with companies ranging from early stage to Fortune 5. Throughout his career, Andy has championed solutions that coordinate care, lower costs, and improve patient outcomes. Prior to joining WellSky, Andy served as president of post-acute, home, and emerging solutions at Evernorth, a division of Cigna. There, he led strategy and execution of solutions that improve the affordability, predictability and simplicity of healthcare for populations requiring post-acute, home, chronic, and complex care. Additionally, he has served in senior leadership roles for organizations such as eviCore, Optum, GeoAccess, STERIS, and Stryker. While at Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group, Andy held progressively senior positions that included senior vice president of payer solutions and senior vice president of growth. Andy earned a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dusty Rudicel

Chief Financial Officer

Dusty Rudicel is chief financial officer of WellSky and is responsible for the company’s financial strategy and operations to ensure sustained long-term growth and value creation. Dusty is a results-oriented finance and operations leader with more than 25 years of experience working in fast-paced technology companies with a proven ability to optimize operations, drive strategic initiatives, and develop high-performing and collaborative teams. Prior to joining WellSky, Dusty held various leadership positions across finance, accounting, and operations at Cerner Corporation. Dusty earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and an MBA from Baker University.
