HTML / Java Developer
Position Summary:
Immediate availability: This contract position will provide the right developer the opportunity to create new Google Maps functionality (utilizing Google APIs) within our industry-leading hosted services application.

Position Responsibilities include:
- Develop Front End Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) in a number of various technologies including JavaScript, HTML, JSP and AJAX.
- Work with non-technical users to understand requirements and to be able to quickly convert those requirements into working software components.
- Work with other software developers to develop more complex software products using the appropriate technologies.
- Where appropriate work with QA functions to determine test plans and test cases that are require to fully test the software before release.
- Research existing tools and technologies that can be used to help answer requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Skills and Experience:
- Development of dynamic HTML JavaScript JSP applications from initial concept from high level requirements documents and design mock-ups.
- Development of Web based front ends of tools using HTML, JSP, PHP, AJAX, etc.
- Experience working closely with graphic designers and developers in a dynamic team environment, observing both detailed specifications and immediate word-of-mouth change requests.
- Very strong HTML, JavaScript, and JSP development skills - including AJAX functionality and associated frameworks.
- Ability to work independently on assignments.
- Experience using MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable clear understanding between both technical and non-technical users so that effective software products can be developed.
