Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager for Kinnser Software, Inc. will help drive the development of strategy and planning efforts to promote awareness and demand for Kinnser solutions. This out-bound oriented Product Marketing Manager role will be integral to product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, sales tools development, and market research.

About the Position

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for tactical efforts including product positioning, demand generation and marketing initiatives within an Agile work process environment for a specific Kinnser product line.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist in development of product positioning and messaging specific to target markets which effectively articulate benefits and advantages
  • Research industry trends, competitors positioning and prospect requirements to provide raw data for effective target market definition and sales enablement
  • In collaborative with Senior Product Marketing Manager and Creative Manager, conceptualize, write and produce collateral such as whitepapers, datasheets, case studies, sales presentations, and webcasts
  • Execute marketing launch activities in support of new product releases and functionality, working together marketing department as well as cross-functionally with technical and sales teams
  • Maintain corporate website content and creating new page content to support lead generation efforts
  • Author blog posts and publish articles via applicable media outlets
  • Develop domain expertise and present at industry events on behalf of Kinnser Software

About Candidates

Our ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in the development and management of successful outbound focused product marketing programs.

Specific qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years experience of successful B2B software and/or SaaS product marketing with an excellent track record of performance against goals
  • Excellent writing skill with demonstrable high-impact writing for whitepapers, datasheets and blog posts;
  • Ability to create graphical representations of complex constructs that elegantly communicate the relevant concepts
  • Self-directed individual that can think independently, drive initiatives across an organization and thrive without having tightly defined processes in place
  • Strong project management skills coupled with a high attention to detail and superior multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a small company, fast paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements
