Sales Representative

Position Summary:

Kinnser Software is an Inc. 500 award-winning, online healthcare technology firm with a track record of triple-digit annual growth. We are one of the fastest growing companies in Texas, and we are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. This person will focus on selling our unique service that improves the healthcare industry. This Sales Rep. will be responsible for new business sales and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This is an Austin- based job that will require regular travel throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Use qualified leads to generate new prospects and then convert those prospects into signed contracts
  • Act as point person (under the supervision of the VP of Sales) for preparation of quotations, proposals, and subsequent contract negotiations with new clients
  • Demonstrate product and technical knowledge in providing detailed and effective online and in-person product demonstrations
  • Track sales activity on a weekly basis and complete monthly sales reports for senior management
  • Maintain a current (daily/weekly) prospect database for all prospects
  • Successfully hand-off new clients to Client Services for training and implementation
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Tech Support in developing effective and professional sales and training materials for company capabilities and services
  • Assist Marketing in identifying prospects for new products and services
  • Attend industry trade events and Kinnser-sponsored customer events
  • Monitor competitors and propose changes in strategies/tactics for senior management review
  • Assist in collecting outstanding accounts receivable as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience and proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a good sense of humor
  • Experience in effectively using a consultative selling style
  • Demonstrable proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations via web conferencing is preferred
  • Experience using CRM databases, preferably Salesforce
  • Desire and ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • Is creative, innovative, inquisitive and resourceful; can take initiative and think ahead
  • Experience with web-based software sales is a STRONG PLUS
  • Experience in healthcare and/or technology sales is also a STRONG PLUS
