Sales Representative for Midwest

Position Summary:

Kinnser Software is one of the fastest growing companies in Texas, and we are recruiting a Sales Representative to sell our unique service that improves the healthcare industry. This new position will be responsible for selling Kinnser Software's industry-leading, Web-based software to home healthcare agencies in the Midwest region of the US with a focus on Chicago and Detroit.

This person will be responsible for new business sales and will report directly to the Vice-President of Sales. Ideally, this person will live in the Midwest, but we will consider Austin-based candidates who are willing to travel regularly to the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Use qualified leads to generate new prospects and then convert those prospects into signed contracts
  • Act as point person (under the supervision of the VP of Sales) for preparation of quotations, proposals, and subsequent contract negotiations with new clients
  • Demonstrate product and technical knowledge in providing detailed and effective online and in-person product demonstrations
  • Track sales activity on a weekly basis and complete monthly sales reports for senior management
  • Maintain a current (daily/weekly) prospect database for all prospects
  • Successfully hand-off new clients to Client Services for training and implementation
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Tech Support in developing effective and professional sales and training materials for company capabilities and services
  • Assist Marketing in identifying prospects for new products and services
  • Attend industry trade events and Kinnser-sponsored customer events
  • Monitor competitors and propose changes in strategies/tactics for senior management review
  • Assist in collecting outstanding accounts receivable as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience and proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a good sense of humor
  • Experience in effectively using a consultative selling style
  • Demonstrable proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations via web conferencing is preferred
  • Experience using CRM databases, preferably Salesforce
  • Desire and ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • Is creative, innovative, inquisitive and resourceful; can take initiative and think ahead
  • Experience with web-based software sales is a STRONG PLUS
  • Experience in healthcare and/or technology sales is also a STRONG PLUS
