Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior
Kinnser Software is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the Development and Project Management teams to analyze business requirements and test the product. The Quality Assurance Analyst may also be called upon to assist other departments.

About the Position
The individual selected for this position is primarily responsible for manually testing our home healthcare SaaS application. The individual will test all areas of the application. Activities include developing, executing and maintaining tests and coordinating test efforts. Work is performed with minimal supervision and requires initiative and judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain tests
- Report, track and determine the priority of bugs and issues found
- Communicate issues and testing statuses to QA and development team members
- Work within the context of a Scrum or Kanban team
- Work directly with developers, QA Analysts, project/product managers and other stake holders
- Coordinate test efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- 5 years of software Quality Assurance experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience querying/modifying databases using SQL
- Light programming or scripting experience (ability to read/understand code)
- Excellent organization skills
- Broad range of testing experience (black box/white box, system/functional)
- Experience working in an Agile/Lean environment
- Skilled at recognizing issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and working with appropriate resources to address and resolve
- Exposure to managing a QA lab or test environment
- Proven problem solving abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Experience or exposure to home healthcare
- Experience executing and/or writing automated test scripts
- Well versed in software process methodologies
- Experience introducing or championing QA best practices in an organization
