Staff Accountant
Kinnser Software is seeking an entry level Staff Accountant to help support all areas of accounting, including general ledger, A/R, A/P, and payroll. This position is integral to our success in delivering the best in class solutions to our customers and the industry.

About the Position
The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Vice President of Finance & Operations and will be responsible for the following:
- Perform General Ledger reviews and bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P)
- Assist with monthly close processes, reporting and analysis
- Prepare monthly reports on financial metrics using Excel and Powerpoint
- Process payroll and expense reimbursements
- Identify and recommend process improvements and assist the management team in maximizing efficiency, cash flow, and net income through financial analysis
About Candidates
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, self-disciplined individual seeking to further his/her career within accounting. Specific qualifications include:
- Experience with an internship / co-op program of at least one semester or minimum of six months full-time relevant work experience as accountant or alternately four years in accounting related role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical & report development skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint & MS-Word
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work effectively and build relationships throughout organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent years of experience
