UX Designer
Kinnser Software is seeking an exceptional UX Designer that will have primary ownership Kinnser’s user interface design and customer experience initiatives. This position is integral to our success in delivering best in class solutions to customers in the Healthcare industry.

About the Position
Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, the UX Designer will have the opportunity to develop and improve the user experience and functionality of current and new products while working closely with product owners and development teams. The UX Designer will create and iterate on wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to design user interaction for specific user roles, and translate usability research findings into design improvements that build a quality user experience. Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with product managers and business analysts to refine software requirement and evaluate design alternatives
- Become expert on theuser personas of Kinnser products to ensure that Kinnser Software user experiences meet the goals of the users
- Build wireframe as well as functional high-fidelity prototypes for certain features (when appropriate)
- Evolve the information architecture and navigation model of Kinnser’s existing SaaS based applications
- Present user experience interface concepts and design approaches clearly and convincingly
- Investigate cutting edge browser based presentation designs and technologies to influence UI architecture direction
- Works with engineers to ensure that UI designs are technically feasible and can be implemented within release timeframes
- Define UI standards and perform UI reviews to ensure compliance with standards
About Candidates
- 3+ years of experience managing all aspects of user interface design, information architecture, usability feedback, and the full process required to create outstanding user interface experiences
- Experience producing wireframe and/or high-fidelity UI prototypes from product owner requirements and input
- Ability to create final graphic and other UI assets for flawless design implementation
- Exceptional understanding of fundamental interaction design and usability principles
- Solid understanding of the capabilities and constraints of browsers, HTML, and JavaScript
- Understanding of opportunities and constraints of multiple platforms (web, smartphone, tablets)
- Expert-level knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop
- Good communications, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of small, fast-paced teams
- Experience with enterprise software (including non-healthcare) or other business process automation solutions is a plus
- Experience in healthcare is a plus
- Experience in an agile development environment a plus
- Online portfolio of work samples is required
- Passionate about designing rich user experiences. The ideal candidate is not afraid of a blank white board
